Community Guidelines
These Guidelines apply to everyone on revolution.fan, viewers, chatters, and creators, across live streams, chat, DMs, comments, and profiles. They exist so the platform stays a place fans and creators actually want to be. By using revolution.fan you agree to follow them. Creators are also responsible for their own channels and the moderators they appoint.
Zero tolerance
The following lead to immediate removal and can result in permanent loss of your account, regardless of context:
- Child safety, any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors.
- Violence, credible threats, incitement of violence, or terrorism.
- Hate & harassment, targeted attacks or hateful conduct based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious medical condition.
- Doxxing, sharing someone's private information without consent.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual content involving anyone who hasn't consented.
- Self-harm, promotion or encouragement of self-harm or suicide.
Not allowed
- Harassment & bullying, including stalking, brigading, or coordinated pile-ons.
- Spam, repetitive messages, mass unsolicited links, engagement farming, or bots.
- Scams & fraud, phishing, fake giveaways, deceptive links, or misrepresenting where money goes.
- Impersonation, of another person, creator, brand, or of revolution.fan staff.
- Illegal activity, including the sale of illegal or regulated goods.
- Infringement, sharing content you don't have the rights to, piracy, leaks, or infringing material.
- Evading enforcement, using alternate accounts to get around a timeout, ban, or block.
Cheating & stream sniping
Competitive integrity matters. These are prohibited when they affect another creator or their audience:
- Stream sniping, watching a creator's live broadcast to gain an unfair real-time advantage against them in a game, locating them, countering their strategy, or queue-sniping to match into their game.
- Cheating, using cheats, hacks, exploits, or unauthorized software to gain an advantage, or coordinating others to do so.
- Ban evasion, returning under another account after being blocked from a creator's stream.
Creators and their moderators may block a suspected stream sniper from the stream entirely, not just from chat, at their discretion. Repeated or platform-wide sniping can lead to account-level action.
Creators & moderators
Creators are responsible for what happens on their channel, including the conduct of the moderators they appoint, so appoint people you trust. Moderators act on the creator's behalf and must enforce these Guidelines in good faith. Moderator tools (delete message, timeout, chat ban, full-stream block) are for keeping the community safe, not for silencing legitimate disagreement. Abuse of moderator powers may result in their removal and further action.
How enforcement works
Enforcement is generally graduated, but severity, intent, and repeat behavior can move a case straight to the strongest action. Steps 1–4 are decided by the creator and their moderators; step 5 is decided by revolution.fan.
Message deletion
A specific message is removed.
Timeout
You're temporarily unable to chat, you can still watch.
Chat ban
You're removed from a channel's chat indefinitely, you can still watch.
Full-stream block
You're removed from a creator's stream entirely, chat and viewing, e.g. for stream sniping.
Platform action
For serious or repeated violations: suspension or permanent termination of your account, and where required, reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Reporting & appeals
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, report it using the report option on a stream, message, or profile, or contact our team. We review reports and may act on patterns of behavior even when a single message looks borderline. Don't file false or retaliatory reports.
If you believe a platform-level action against your account was a mistake, you can appeal by contacting support. Channel-level actions, a creator or their mods timing you out, banning you from their chat, or blocking you from their stream, are the creator's decision, and different creators run their communities differently.
Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the platform and community evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the platform, and continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
